You'd like to know more about your family and have stumbled over Flehingen, Sickingen or Oberderdingen in the process? You're looking for help researching your ancestors? You're searching for victims of the Nazi regime or you're working on this topic? You're originally from Flehingen and would like to visit your old home town? The association "Museumsverein Flehingen-Sickingen e.V." will gladly assist you.

We're also looking forward to any contact with former fellow citizens who have lived in Flehingen prior to 1945 and who had to leave Flehingen either by choice or force. Additionally, we'd appreciate any contact with their relatives who may be interested to know more about their fate. We'd be glad to come into contact with descendents of former citizens of Flehingen.

The "Museumsverein" will gladly assist with the following:

-    the search for accomodation 
-    the visit of former Jewish sites in Flehingen and its vicinity
-    the search for burial grounds and the visit of cemeteries
-    the search for and translation of documents.

We're able to correspond in German, English, and French.

Founded in 2009, the association "Museumsverein Flehingen-Sickingen e.V." is a non-profit registered association.
It is the declared goal of this association to scientifically research the extremely interesting history of Flehingen and Sickingen, to preserve it and present it for educational purposes. The association focuses on cultural heritage management. We aim to create a museum on the history of Flehingen and its vicinity in order to make this history easily accessible to a wider audience, especially the younger generation.

האגודה שמה לעצמה למטרה לחקור באופן מדעי את ההיסטוריה המעניינת של העירות פלהינגן וסיקינגן, לשמר אותה, ולהציג אותה בצורה מעניינת מבחינה חינוכית. אחד הנושאים המרכזיים של האגודה הינו שימור של אתרים היסטוריים ושל נכסי תרבות. אנו שואפים להקים מוזיאון אזורי היסטורי, שיאפשר לקהל רחב יותר ובמיוחד לדור הצעיר, להכיר את ההיסטוריה של המקום וסביבתו.
